Finally sussed out why my legs don’t work properly!!!

After five years of tests and scans and copious different doctor visits, finally we have figured out what the heck is wrong with my legs! The reasons why I cant run any more, walk long distances and ride in a big gear often is, as my Doctor Ruth Highet put it, because “your muscles are just too big for your legs”. I couldn’t argue with that, there is just so much power contained in those babies . . . I should have known really. The more scientific term used for this diagnosis is ‘compartment syndrome’ to understand what that means I have been told my legs are like sausages, when heated (when exercising) the skin needs to split to allow the meat to expand, with my legs the muscles in my lower leg are not able to expand due to a tight ‘sleeve’ that surrounds the muscle compartments and as a result all my muscles tighten up so much they can not be used.
