Getting to much spam in the comments

In order to deal with the spam that has been turning up in the comments I have added reCAPTCHA plugin, so when you add a comment you just have to type a couple of words at the end to confirm that you are not a computer trying to spam the site. So please don’t let this stop you leaving comments, as I know samara loves reading the messages of encouragement …

reCAPTCHA asks commenters to read two words from a book. One of these words proves that they are a human, not a computer. The other word is a word that a computer couldn’t read. Because the user is known to be a human, the reading of that word is probably correct. So you don’t get comment spam, and the world gets books digitized. Everybody wins! For details, visit the reCAPTCHA website.

Where to from worlds?

All in all Worlds was a fantastic trip!!!! I had such a good time staying with the team and a great race to top it off. I now know where I stand in the world and what I need to do to get to the next level. I have had time to reflect on my race now and think about where to go from here. It will take a while to get to the very top but still being so young time is what I have. Some changes I will make for next years Worlds build up will be to race Pro Elite for the upcoming national series. I also plan to go over seas for some international racing before Worlds, in Italy. This will provide me with more experience in racing faster girls and in bigger fields. Next year I will also be year 13 at school, which is a really important year. And then I will head over seas and get properly stuck into international racing scene the following year.

2007 World Mountain Bike Championships

First world champs… done!!! It was so wicked. It would definitely be the hardest race I have done to date. The strength of the field was amazing. I have never raced so many strong girls before. What an experience. Can’t wait to go again next year and get a few races under my belt with those girls. They are at a whole other level that I intend to reach. Made it to Scotland!

Scotland is WICKED!!!!! Its very stunning. The stone buildings and lakes are mint. Seams like such a different place to New Zealand. Even though thats a beautiful place too. But with the rainy weather and wind I still feel like home.
