National women’s under-19 mountain biking champion Samara Sheppard will take on the world for the first time next month when she travels to the under-19 women’s mountain bike championships in Fort William, Scotland.
The 17-year-old Onslow College student won gold at the Oceania under-19 championships in Australia in March, in her first trip away representing New Zealand.
