2007 National Champs

The 2007 National MTB Series all wrapped up last weekend. It finished nicely on a fantastic course that PNP organised on Mt Vic. The Course was of a typical Wellingtonian style with several tough climbs, which seamed to sort us out pretty quick. Also, there were numerous fun sections that kept us riders and Ambulance officers entertained.

2007 National series: round 2

Round two of the national mtb series went off at Dunedin last Sunday. I was feeling really good about the race when I had been pre riding the course (in the dry) on the Friday and Saturday. It had some good climbs followed by some technical fun down hills. I could ride it all a piece of cake. How ever after my Saturday morning pre ride it started to rain, come race day it was still raining.

2007 National series: round 1

Well guys you will be glad to hear that the national mountain bike series is now underway. The first round of the x-country series started last Sunday 14th of January at Coronet Peak. I had a mint race finishing first with a lead of 2min 54seconds. My race included three laps of the 5.5km up then down circuit.
